Why I Chose the Realtor Profession

This isn’t a funny or profound story but during my senior year of high school (1998) I opened a career guide book where average incomes were printed. As I skimmed through the various occupations, I landed on the real estate section. I was blown away at the possibility of $60,000 in 1998.

Say no more and I was a licensed Realtor within 30 days of graduating high school.

It didn’t take very long for me to realize it wasn’t that easy nor that lucrative.

Looking back at such a short-sighted reason for choosing a career, this has been hands-down the best path for me.

I adore my job, the people I work with and the people I meet. Regardless of the income, this profession is truly what I am meant to do!
