Season of Giving Starring Brooke & Cindy

On my last blog post, I talked about all of the wonderful organizations Rockhill Real Estate Group has had the pleasure of working with this past year but I also mentioned many of our agents volunteer their time independently of Rockhill and would like to feature them here as well.

So let’s get started!

First up- Brooke Norman-Tapp

For the past 8 years, Brooke has chaired an event that is near and dear to her heart; the Manhattan MS Walk. As some may know, her mother struggles with the difficulties of an MS diagnosis. Brooke’s relentless work to bring attention and help raise money to find a cure and assist those suffering from this disease is inspiring to everyone around her. Additionally, she is a member of the Fairy Godmother’s organization and supports them throughout the year at their fundraising events and their golf tournament.

Next up- Cindy Sloan

As a long-time resident of Manhattan, Cindy has served this year on the Meadowlark Hills Board of Directors, Shepard’s Crossing Board of Directors, Meadowlark Hills Memory Walk Committee, Fairy Godmother’s Annual Meeting Committee. She’s also supported the Boys and Girls Club and Homecare & Hospice. The core of Cindy Sloan is kind and generous. You can certainly see her drive to be involved and give back… all while never seeking attention or gratification for her charitable actions.

But, I am not done yet.

This year, we were very excited to see Cindy compete as a candidate in a pig-kissing fundraising opportunity to compete against other Realtors to raise money for the Good Samaritan Fund. Cindy and all of her wonderful friends, family & colleagues rallied behind her and she raised BY FAR the most money. In fact, she raised over $6500.

And you know what that means??

Cindy had to pucker up and kiss a sweet little piglet!
