Katie started her career in real estate in 2003. Initially, she started as a receptionist, moved up to office manager, obtained her sales associate license & then managing broker and co-owner of a local real estate company. 

After selling hundreds of homes while building a top-ranked company, Katie made the decision to step back to what she loves most; working alongside buyers and sellers as they pursue their real estate dreams and now exclusively focuses on those goals. 
 
After all, Katie is well-known for her excellent strategies in assisting clients accomplish their goals and this has helped her earn top local awards over the years. Katie holds various designations, including Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), ePro and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) which she credits to her success in receiving Realtor of the Year Award and in her inaugural year, Rookie of the Year. 

Sharing her talents and time has always been a priority for Katie and you can find a long list of volunteer positions on her resume. She’s served the Wamego community by handling the role of President in the Wamego Chamber Board of Directors. She’s also a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Personally, Katie is a born and raised Kansas girl with a degree from Kansas State University  and chose to raise her family here too. While Katie enjoys traveling and experiencing new things with her 3 children, her heart is invested heavily into helping others. She serves as a foster parent that’s welcomed more than 50 children into their home over the years.
